HELP!!!!!! i need help with this thingy on my 5th grade hw but... idk and i'm a little to lazy to do this so here is the thingy

"Sally went to purchase tiles for her kitchen floor she measured the floor to find how many tiles she needed to cover the floor sally decided tomake a pattern. she chose 10 red tiles" PLZ PLZ PLZ HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I NEED TO GO TO MIDDLE SCHOOL HELPPPP MEEEE!!!!!!! TYSM IF YOU HELP!!! :)

Assuming she did a checkered pattern if she got 10 red tiles she would need 20 tiles total if the kitchen was a square. 
There seems to be some sort of missing information here or maybe a missing picture. Either way, I hope this helps.
