Stars appear to emit only one color (The one we see) but is not true, the stars emit light that varies from Ultra Violet radiation to Infrared Radiation, the visible color depends on the wavelength with the most intensity called Peak Wavelength, this wavelength depends entirely on the temperature of the star if the stars are blue the wavelength with most intensity is the Short wave ( Hotter) different from a Red star, which Wavelength would be longer (Colder).
We see the stars on the night sky in multiple colors, and the variation in the colors of the stars comes from the differences in temperature. The cooler a star is, the more reddish it appears, the hotter the star is the more blueish or whitish they appear. From cool to hot, the stars can appear in the variations of red, orange, yellow, green, blue/white colors, and it is an easy indicator of the temperature of them.
