It is common for humans to imitate those around them. Aristoteles said that learning begins by imitating another person, usually your master, professor, or parents.

Also, listening might be a powerful personality changer. The psychologist Jordan Peterson said that listening truly and sincerely what another person has to say almost always changes the listener, sometimes radically.

Elaine exercises the profession whose job is to listen. Therefore, listening to her patient made her imitate, as Aristoteles said, and change her behavior towards this patient. She did not act as her job demanded, but, as her patient influenced her while talking, the therapist acted more and more like another patient. As Jordan Peterson suggested, the listener became similar to the speaker, and the anxiety one had passed to the another.

Throughout his voyages to the americas columbus steadfastly believes he has discovered islands off the coast of what country?
Nitella [24]

The correct answer is - India.

Columbus went on a mission to discover a sea route to India from the opposite side, or rather to move towards west so that he comes out on the eastern part of India. So when he discovered the islands in the Caribbean he had no idea that those islands are a part of a totally new world unknown to the Europeans (apart from the Vikings), and he thought that those islands must be islands situated east of India, so that is why he also gave the name Indians to the native populations he encountered.

How can we analyze the possible social benefits or consequences to society by the militarization of the police using our sociolo
dimaraw [331]
1. We can analyze the possible social benefits or consequences by creating a standard that deemed as 'desirable' social situation and measures the situation before and after the militarization.
If after the militarization our society got closer to the desirable outcome, we would say that the militarization produces a social benefit.

2. We could take a look at the example of American military occupation in Iraq.
Initially, we intended for the militarization to create a democratic country in iraq after we remove the dictator from power.
But it only resulted in a vacuum that attract many radical groups to came in to control the country. In this case, we can conclude that the militarization produce more consequences than benefit.
