yoshi and rana serve muffins. There are 3 muffins with nuts. 1/6 of the muffins have nuts. How many muffins do they serve in all? how many muffins will be without nuts. Write a fraction for the remaining muffins

Let's say that the total number of muffins is x. Then:
(1/6)*x = 3
x/6 = 3
x = 18, so there are 18 muffins in total

18 - 3 = 15, therefor 15 muffins will be without nuts

15/18 = 5/6 (fraction for remaining muffins)
