Like terms are when you have 2 of the same coefficent disregarding the amount of numbers. you can add or subtract them to simplify in other words.
If you want to find out ..for example.. cube root of 8..just put it in the calculator!
Or you could power it by 1/3 ...which is the same thing as cube rooting it.
(Even though I need the calculator in both the cases..)
