For all of these, I used 3.14 for pi
To find the circumference, multiply 2*pi*radius
Remember for the ones that show diameter, divide it by 2 to get the radius.
I hope this helps!!

Answer:

Everything is squared.

9) 2π(6) = 37.699cm

10) 2π(9) = 56.548yd

11) 2π(9) = 56.548in

12) 2π(7) = 43.982m

13) 2π(11) = 69.115m

14) 2π(2) = 12.566ft

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the circumference it's 2πr.

To find the radius, cut the diamter in half.

9) 2π(6) = 37.699cm

10) 2π(9) = 56.548yd

11) 2π(9) = 56.548in

12) 2π(7) = 43.982m

13) 2π(11) = 69.115m

14) 2π(2) = 12.566ft

What is 18 divided by 0.2 and how?
kati45 [8]
0.2 is the same as 2/10

18/(2/10)

As you may have learned in school, when you divide a fraction, you flip the fraction in the denominator, and change it to multiplication

18/(2/10) becomes 18 x (10/2)

multiply normally

18 x 10 = 180

divide to find answer

180/2 = 90

90 is your answer

hope this helps

Remember, when you meet this problem, flip the second fraction, and change the division sign into multiplication. (always second, never first (if first is a fraction)).

The answer to this problem?

The simplified expression of \sqrt{\frac{162x^9}{2x^{27}}} is \frac{9}{x^9}

<h3>How to simplify the expression?</h3>

The expression is given as:

\sqrt{\frac{162x^9}{2x^{27}}}

Divide 162 and 2 by 2

\sqrt{\frac{81x^9}{x^{27}}}

Take the square root of 81

9\sqrt{\frac{x^9}{x^{27}}}

Apply the quotient rule of indices

9\sqrt{\frac{1}{x^{27-9}}}

Evaluate the difference

9\sqrt{\frac{1}{x^{18}}}

Take the square root of x^18

\frac{9}{x^9}

Hence, the simplified expression of \sqrt{\frac{162x^9}{2x^{27}}} is \frac{9}{x^9}

What is the equation of a line with slope -1/2 passing through (-5,4)?
elena-14-01-66 [18.8K]
For this question you need to use what's called point-slope form. It's named this way because you can use it if you have both the slope and a point at which the line passes through. That said, the equation is as follows:

y - y1 = m(x - x1)

Both y1 and x1 represent the y and x coordinates you are given in the question. Also, m represents the slope of the line that you are given. Knowing this, our equation now looks like this:

y - 4 = -0.5(x - (-5))

And now simplify:

y - 4 = -0.5(x + 5)
y - 4 = -0.5x - 2.5

y = -0.5x + 1.5

Are two lines with the same slope and different y intercept perpendicular sometimes true?
lara [203]
I don't believe so, last time i checked for two lines to be perpendicular they needed to have opposite reciprocal slopes.

For Example
If one line has a slope of 5
The second line has to have a slope of -1/5
