Well, you need to find the area of each shape (triangles and square). So first you find the area of any triangle you see (the formula is 1/2 x base (3) x the height (5)). You then get 7.5. Multiply that with 4, because there are 4 triangles. you would get 30. so the area for the triangles are 30, and now for the square. The square's formula is length x height. (3 x 3) Which equals 9. So the area of the square is 9. Now finally you need to add the 30 (triangles) and the 9 (square) and you get the grand total of 39!!

raketka [301]

Answer:

Step 4

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the expression 7+(-2)

Let 7 be 7 positive tiles since it is a positive number

Let -2 be 2 negative tiles being a negative number

7+(-2) = 7 positive tiles and 2 negative tiles

note that + * - will give minus sigh (-), the expression will become:

7+(-2) = 7-2

7-2 = 5

Hence the expression gives 5 positive tiles not 2 positive tiles according to Jillian calculations in step 4.

Hence Jillian made an error in step 4

if u have a dice and want to roll 1 or 2
P(1) = 1/6
P(2) = 1/6

P(1 or 2) = 1/6 + 1/6 = 2/6 = 1/3

What is the probability that a student eye color would be blue if their grade in physics is A? A two way table is presented belo
Zarrin [17]
The correct answer is:

16/45.

Explanation:

We want the probability that a student's eye color is blue if they made an A in physics. This means we look at the column for students with an A.

There are 32 students with blue eyes in the A column.

This is out of 32+58=90 students that made an A.

This makes the probability 32/90, which simplifies to 16/45.
