One way to prevent injuries and being safe is to prepare and to be ready when a hurricane or earthquake happens, if someone lives where there are a lot of earthquakes then they always need to be ready for it. A safety kit, a place to hide thats safe and proactive with plenty of food and water.
As for a hurricane, people have time to get ready for what is about to come, there are shelters where people can go and have food and beds, but the sooner people know the better because it gives them more time to get ready. In emergency situations it's always best to call 911 first, or figure out what the problem is, identify what to do then act. Hope this helps!<span />
