The states had too much power and the central government was weak, they only had a legislative branch. They didn’t have a president. Congress could not regulate trade. There was also no power of taxation. These are all weaknesses but the most major one was the central government being weak and the states stronger.

The bill of rights are article's that give people there induvial rights and</span> so people thought that the government would change those rights therefore changing laws that had to be followed. Bill of rights contain amendments that could not be change said but the original founding fathers of our country. Even though they can't, it's still possible.
