Natural selection will eliminate any bad traits, because these traits will cause the extinction of the whole species

Business

This statement is not true. Natural selection does not automatically wipe out bad traits and leads to extinction of affected species. During the process of natural selection, species having disadvantageous traits are usually eliminated but if the selection pressure is not strong enough then some bad traits will escape elimination and continue to exist.

Suppose the government injects $1,000 into the economy and the marginal propensity to consume (MPC) is 0.8. The initial round of
AysviL [449]

Answer:

Round 2 adds =$800

Round 3 adds =$640

Explanation:

Marginal propensity to consume is the aggregate increase in spending by a consumer for each additional $ they earn. So a Marginal Propensity to consume of 0.8 means that each consumer in the economy consumes 80% of any additional dollars they earn, while they save 20% which is also the marginal propensity to save that is 0.2

So First round adds $1000

Second round adds $1000 * 0.8 = $800 as people use 80% of $1000

Third round adds $800 * 0.8 =$640 as people use 80% of $800

while the remaining is saved.

Hope that helps.

Tim Dye, the CFO of Blackwell Automotive, Inc., is putting together this year's financial statements. He has gathered the follow
never [62]

Answer:

210,421 Long-Term Liabilities

Explanation:

We are going to use the accounting equation to solve for long term liabilities

Assets = Equity + Liabilities\\Liablities = short\: term + long\: term

Total Assets

cash 23,015

Account Receivables 141,258

Inventory 213,000

other current assets 11,223

PPE 714,100

goodwill and other assets 78,656

Total Assets 1,181,252

common stock 311,300

retained earnings 512,159

Total equity 823,459

We use he accounting equation to get total liabilities:

1,181,252 - 823,459 = 357,793 Total Liabilities

Now we calcualte the short-term debt

126,257 Account Payable

21,115 short-term Note Payable

Total Current Liabilities 147,372

And with this, the diference between short-term adn total liabilities is the long-term liabilities

357,793 - 147,372 = 210,421 Long-Term Liabilities

Why is a production possibilities frontier typically drawn as a curve, rather than a straight line?.
Vinvika [58]

This is due to the following reasons:

The curved shape is a representation of the law of diminishing returns. According to this law, there comes a time when an additional production element has less of an impact. Adding more resources to the production process, for example, may result in quite big profits at first.

What does the production possibility frontier represent?

 • The Production Possibilities Frontier (PPF) is a graph that depicts all of the possible output combinations of two items that can be produced utilizing available resources and technology. The PPF expresses the ideas of scarcity, choice, and tradeoffs.
 • A production possibilities curve depicts the possible combinations of two items that an economy can produce. Scarcity is implied by the decreasing slope of the production possibilities curve. The production possibilities curve's bowed-out shape derives from resource allocation based on comparative advantage.
