So these can be translated to decimals
we know that 4=4/1 so 0.4=0.4/1, to convert to nice fractions, multiply by 10/10 and get 4/10 times 10/10=40/100

then 0.25/1 times 100/100=25/100 so
0.1/1 times 10/10=1/10

a farmer planted 40/100 or 4/10 or 2/5 of his field with corn
pumpkin=25/100=1/4 field with pumpkin
tomato=1/10 with tomato

you should be able to solve with this info

iragen [17]

Answer:

H_A: P_{\text{Internet}}-P_{\text{Store}} > 0.10

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given the following in the question:

Let P_{\text{Internet}} be the proportion of the internet sales and P_{\text{Store}} be the proportion of the store sale.

Hypothesis:

We have to conduct a hypothesis to check that the Internet sales are more than 10 percent higher than store sales.

Thus, we can design the null and alternative hypothesis as:

H_{0}: P_{\text{Internet}}-P_{\text{Store}}\leq 0.10\\H_A: P_{\text{Internet}}-P_{\text{Store}} > 0.10

Alternate Hypothesis:

The alternate hypothesis states that the proportion of the internet sales is greater than the proportion of store sales by 10 percent.

Which expression is a factor of 21x2 + 13x – 20?A. 3x – 4B. 7x - 5C. 7x + 4D. 3x + 5
LUCKY_DIMON [66]

Answer:

B. 7x - 5

Explanation

Given the expression 21x^2 + 13x – 20, to get which of the given expression is a factor we will have to factorize the equation first as shown;

21x^2 + 13x – 20

= 21x^2 + 28x - 15x - 20

= 7x(3x+4) -5(3x+4)

= (7x-5)(3x+4)

Hence one of the factors is 7x - 5

Suppose Q and R are independent events. Find P(Q and R). P(Q) = 0.87, P(R) = 0.51
eimsori [14]

Answer:

0.4437

Step-by-step explanation:

First we will define independent events.

Two events are said to be independent when the occurrence of one event doesn't affect the probability of occurrence of second event.

Given

P(Q)=0.87

and

P(R)=0.51

The probability of independent events is given as:

P(Q∩R)=P(Q)*P(R)

=0.87*0.51

=0.4437

So the probability of Q and R is 0.4437 ..
