Answer:

The number of times Seth attend in order for the benefit his father to buy the pass is 2.8 times .

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

The price for six month pass = $ 40

The cost of matinees with the pass = $ 1.00

The cost of matinees without pass = $ 3.50

Now, According to question

If we take matinees per day for six months so, number of matinees = 6 × 30 = 180

So, The cost of matinees for six month with pass at the rate $ 1.00 each = 180 × $ 1 + $ 40

I.e The cost of matinees for six month with pass $ 220

Now, Again

The cost of matinees for six month without pass at the rate $ 3.50 each = 180 × $ 3.50

I.e The cost of matinees for six month without pass at the rate $ 3.50 each = $ 630

So, The number of times Seth attend in order for the benefit = \frac{630}{220} = 2.8

Hence  The number of times Seth attend in order for the benefit his father to buy the pass is 2.8 times . Answer

The bike store marks up the wholesale cost of all of the bikes they sell by 30%.
Dmitrij [34]

Answer:

Suppose that the wholesale of a bike is A (A is the 100% in this case). If we have an increase of 30% for the sale price, we have the new price of:

Price = A + (30%/100%)A = A + 0.3*A = (1.3)*A

Then if we know that the price tag of the bike is $125, then we have:

$125 = (1.3)*A

$125/1.3 = A = $96.15

The wholesale cost of the bike is $96.15

I'm not 100% sure if I am right, but for number 9 you would pick two points on , let's just say you pick points (0, 1) and (2, -2). Then you would find those points in the table. So in this case the answer would be D. And I'm not really sure how to explain #10 but you basically work out each problem with the graph to see if it makes sense. For example if you try working out problem F it wouldn't make sense since you start of with 10 dollars and earn 2 each day. But on the graph it shows that you are loosing two. Sorry if I didn't explain it right, if you have more questions let me know!

Find the range of the function F(x) = the integral from 0 to x of the square root of 4-t^2 dt
ioda

Note that √(4 - t²) is defined only as long as 4 - t² ≥ 0, or -2 ≤ t ≤ 2. Then the real integral exists only if -2 ≤ x ≤ 2. (Otherwise we deal with complex numbers.)

If x = 2, then the integral corresponds to the area of a quarter-circle with radius 2. This means that the integral has a maximum value of 1/4 • π • 2² = π.

On the opposite end, if x = -2, then the integral has the same value, but the integral from 0 to -2 is equal to the negative integral from -2 to 0. So the minimum value is -π.

For all x in between, we observe that the integrand is continuous over the rest of its domain, so F(x) is continuous.

Then the range of F(x) is the interval [-π, π].
