Biology
1 answer:

Answer:

Transcription

Explanation:

This occurs in three steps itself: initiation, elongation, and termination

Initiation (beginning)

- RNA polymers bind to a promoter on a gene

- DNA then unwinds to be "read" by an enzyme

- DNA now ready to make mRNA strand

Elongation (Second step)

- nucleotides are added to mRNA strand

- mRNA molecule is built after RNA polymers reads the DNA that unwound

- adenine (A) in DNA connects to a uracil (U) of RNA while connected to each other

Termination (End)

- RNA will cross a stop sequence in the gene (termination)

- mRNA done and disconnects or detaches from DNA

Hope this helps!

How was the lunar regolith formed?
Sav [38]

Answer:

On the Moon, regolith occurs as a mixture of powdery dust and broken rock. Lunar regolith is formed by the impact of meteorites on the body's surface. The force of the collision melts some of the impacted regolith to form objects known as agglutinates and heaves debris (ejecta) outward from the point of impact. need brainliest pls

Why are cohesion and adhesion important to life?
Flauer [41]
Since water is attracted to other molecules, adhesive force pulls the water towards other molecules. Water is transported in plants through both Cohesive and Adhesive forces, the forces pull water and resold minerals from the roots to leaves and other parts of the plant. Important because it keeps the plants or trees alive which gives us the ability to breathe
