Question: In Anthony’s speech “On Women's Right to Vote,” what evidence does she use to support her argument that state laws preventing women from voting are illegal?

Options:

A- the constitution that “secure[s] the blessings of liberty”

B- a state law that is “null and void,” or not valid

C- the question “Are women persons?”

D- a description of her voting as an “alleged crime”

Answer: The correct answer is option: A) The constitution that “secure[s] the blessings of liberty”

Explanation: Susan B. Anthony was arrested for casting an illegal vote in the presidential election of 1872. During this time, women did not have the right to vote. She was fined at $100 dollars but refused to pay and gave a very important speech about women's right to vote. She assured the public that she had not committed a crime, but she had simply exercised her citizen's rights. She also mentioned that the National Constitution had given these rights to all U.S citizens. She even quoted the preamble of the Federal Constitution, mentioning the following: "We, the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America. -- It was we, the people; not we, the white male citizens; nor yet we, the male citizens; but we, the whole people, who formed the Union. Reread paragraphs 1-16 and summarize the conditions of BIE schools across the United
allochka39001 [22]

Hello. You did not enter the text to which this question refers, which makes it impossible for it to be answered accurately, but I will try to help you in the best possible way.

BIE schools are government plans to prepare to stimulate quality education in indigenous reserves, allowing Native Americans to have access to good education that will promote many opportunities for them and their tribes. However, the execution of these schools has been something that the government has failed to comply with, many of them never left the paper and those that left live with a strong lack of necessary resources.

The author may have addressed this with phrases that point out the problems that these schools face and how it prevents their objective from being achieved.

PLEASE ANSWER ;( also this is for ELA I need help. And it’s about “The Giver” book
GrogVix [38]

Answer:

The community is safer because no one will become heartbroken and act out. People tend to act out of anger or sadness when they are hurt meaning this could cause violent problems or problems in general. So it is better that no one feels anything at all. Love does add happiness to our lives because if you need support after going through something rough or you just need to heal love always helps. Love can help the hurt and broken it always helps to have a loving relationship with someone. Love can cause sadness especially when you and someone you love breaks up or something terrible happens to them. Love can certainly hurt but it will heal eventually with others caring and support. -Your friend, Bill Cipher

Explanation: P.S. Enjoy the book it is really good :)

A character from a novel or play that you have recently read is on trial, and you are the attorney defending him or her. Identif
kramer
For the first one, I would start by mentioning the characters crime, add something about how it was inexcusable, then incorporate a condensed precis on the characters situation (leaving out any bits that could embody the characters freedom). And end with a statement that discloses that your appeal is unarguable because (enter main argument here) and that is why so and so should be imprisoned.

For the second question, I would personally choose the feminist because it would in theory be easier to explain their basic philosophy and how it is affecting the plot. Because I don't know who the character is, I can't really elaborate further. But please contact me if you need any more help, I'll do what I can.
