Because of Louis XVI, The Ruler of France before the Revolution married Marie Antoinette. by killing all the guards and freeing the small number of Prisoners showed. People suspected of anti-revolutionary activities or of helping France's enemies were. 1795-99- Replaced as the national convention as the government suffered.
