The House of Representatives and the Senate, check each other, because a law cannot pass Congress unless both chambers approve it by simple majorities.
The Congress makes laws, but the President in the executive branch can veto those laws with a Presidential Veto.
The Congress makes laws, but the judicial branch can declare those laws unconstitutional.
The POTUS, through the Federal agencies, has responsibility for day-to-day enforcement and administration of Federal laws. These Federal departments and agencies have missions and responsibilities that vary widely, from environmental protection to protecting the Nation’s borders.
The President in the executive branch can veto a law, but the legislative branch can override that veto with enough votes.
The Congress has the power to approve Presidential nominations, control the budget, and can impeach the President and remove him or her from office.
The POTUS can declare Executive Orders, which are like proclamations that carry the force of law, but the judicial branch can declare those acts unconstitutional.
The court interprets laws, but the President nominates Supreme Court justices, court of appeals judges, and district court judges who make the evaluations.
The court interprets laws, but the Senate in the legislative branch confirms the President’s nominations for judicial positions, and Congress can impeach any of those judges and remove them from office.

Write a paragraph explaining why Americans needed independence to protect their rights. Use these word in your paragraph: INDEPE
kaheart [24]
Independence. Its primary author, Thomas Jefferson, wrote the Declaration as a formal explanation of why Congress had voted on July 2 to declare independence from Great Britain, more than a year after the outbreak of the American Revolutionary War, and as a statement announcing that the thirteen American Colonies were no longer a part of the British Empire. Congress issued the Declaration of Independence in several forms. It was initially published as a printed broadsheet that was widely distributed and read to the public.

Philosophically, the Declaration stressed two themes: individual rights and the right of revolution. These ideas became widely held by Americans and spread internationally as well, influencing in particular the French Revolution. Hope that helps:)

The correct answer is a hypothesis

In the scientific method, a hypothesis can be defined as the provisional or attempted solution to a given problem. The level of truth attributed to such a hypothesis will depend on how the empirical data collected support or not what is stated in the hypothesis. This process, known as empirical contrasting of the hypothesis, can be carried out through confirmation (in the case of universal hypotheses) or verification (in the case of existential hypotheses).
