Answer:

The length of Diagonal of the sandwich is 5.830 inches

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

The length of sandwich  = 3 inches

The width of sandwich   = 5 inches

Now, According to question , The sandwich is cut into to equal right triangle

So , As It become Right angle Triangle

∴ From Pythagoras Theorem

    H² = P² + B²

Or, Diagonal²  = 3² + 5²

Or, Diagonal²  = 9 + 25 = 34

∴    Diagonal   = √34 inches = 5.830 inches

Hence The length of Diagonal of the sandwich is 5.830 inches Answer

What is the equation of the line passing through the point (4, 5) that is parallel to the line with the equation
Reptile [31]

Answer:

y=2x-3

Step-by-step explanation:

1. find the slope

6x-3y=21

-3y=-6x+21 divide both sides by -3

y=2x-7

slope is 2

2.y-5=2(x-4)

  y-5=2x-8

  y=2x-8+5

  y=2x-3

PARALLEL lines have the same slope

Using the z-distribution, the p-value would be given as follows:

b) 0.0086.

<h3>What are the hypothesis tested?</h3>

At the null hypothesis we test if the means are equal, hence:

H_0: \mu_D - \mu_C = 0

At the alternative hypothesis, it is tested if they are different, hence:

H_1: \mu_D - \mu_C \neq 0

<h3>What are the mean and the standard error for the distribution of differences?</h3>

For each sample, they are given as follows:

  • \mu_D = 12, s_D = \frac{5.2}{\sqrt{73}} = 0.6086
  • \mu_C = 14, s_C = \frac{4.1}{\sqrt{81}} = 0.4556

Hence, for the distribution of differences, they are given by:

  • \overline{x} = 12 - 14 = -2.
  • s = \sqrt{0.6086^2 + 0.4556^2} = 0.76

<h3>What is the test statistic?</h3>

The test statistic is given by:

z = \frac{\overline{x} - \mu}{s}

In which \mu = 0 is the value tested at the null hypothesis.

Hence:

z = \frac{\overline{x} - \mu}{s}

z = \frac{-2 - 0}{0.76}

z = -2.63.

Using a z-distribution calculator, for a two-tailed test, with z = -2.63, the p-value is of 0.0086.

Hence option B is correct.

1 ) Tim earns $12.50 an hour cleaning houses. If he works from 8:00am to 2:00pm,
AVprozaik [17]

Answer:

$75

Step-by-step explanation:

First, we will find how many hours he worked. 8:00-12:00 is 4 hours, and 12:00-2:00 is 2 hours, so he worked a total of 6 hours.

Next, we have to multiply the hours worked by his hourly wage.

12.50*6=75
