Vertical angles are equal, so the angle above 2 is also 88+x. Then, because the 2 sides of the 52° triangle are congruent, the angles beneath them are too. So you are left with the equation of that triangle being...

88 + x + 88 + x + 52 = 180
combine like terms
228 + 2x = 180
subtract 228 from both sides
2x = -48
divide both sides by 2
x = -24

Hope this helps :)

A student is trying to construct triangles using four different sets of angles. Th angles in each set are given below. Which set
sladkih [1.3K]

Well I can't be for sure but I know for a fact its not set IV it's not possible to make a triangle out of all right angles. Set II, well, that isn't right either. You can't make a triangle out of all obtuse angles. Like the right angle one, its not possible you can only use one obtuse or right angle in a triangle other wise it's not going to be a triangle. I'd say go try Set III since that would most likely make an equilateral triangle.

solong [7]

Answer:

Angle Angle Angle (AAA) property

Step-by-step explanation:

A right angled triangle is a triangle that has one of its angles to equal 90^{0}. It could be in the form of an isosceles triangle or an acute angled triangle.

The given question compares the congruence properties of two triangles, KOM and LNM.

Thus,

<KOM = <LNM (right angle theorem)

<LMN = <KMO (common angles to both triangles)

⇒ <OKM = <NLM (property of a triangle i.e sum of angle in a triangle is 180^{0})

ΔKOM = ΔLNM (congruence property)

Therefore, by angle angle angle (AAA) congruence property, the two triangles are similar.

Evaluate 32 + (7 − 2) ⋅ 4 − 6 over 3 . (1 point)
alexgriva [62]

Answer:

50

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

32 + (7 − 2) ⋅ 4 − 6/3

Using the acronym PEMDAS

P = parenthesis

E = Exponential

M = Multiplication

D = Division

A = Addition

S = Subtraction

32 + (7 − 2) ⋅ 4 − 6/3

= 32 + (5) • 4 - 6/3

= 32 + 20 - 6/3

= 32 + 20 - 2

= 52 - 2

= 50

Therefore,

32 + (7 − 2) ⋅ 4 − 6/3 = 50
