Sidney used C. Metaphor, to describe Stella's eyes. He describes them as black and says that they beam bright, despite black not containing light with which to beam. The metaphor is that her eyes are bright beams and were a masterpiece of Nature.

Answer:The answer is C (metaphor)

It wouldn't be simile because a simile would use like or as

It wouldn't be parallelism because its not using similar phrases or clauses

It wouldn't be hyperbole because hyperbole is meant to not be taking literal or not meant...overkill.

ElenaW [278]

When Crusoe is 19, he sails off to London without telling his father or mother. Now Crusoe had never been to see before. The beginning of the voyage was rough. The waves were high and the ship unsteady. Crusoe felt that he was "overtaken by the judgment of Heaven" for disobeying his father. He vowed to, if his life was spared, return home when he reached land. This vow, of course, was short lived.</span>
