What is the theme of Anna's Beetle Surprise?

Answer:

The main theme of the story is that a good team should include people with different and yet complementary abilities. Because everyone has different strengths and weaknesses, is better to work together to make the most of everyone's skills.

Explanation:

Briggs' story presents Anna and Tali, two students that have to develop a science project about beetles. The problem is that Anna is scared of beetles, contrary to Tali who has a great interest in them. Tali helps Anna learn about beetles and gets her to overcome her aversion to the insect, which is shown by Anna touching a live beetle. At the same time, Tali, who is afraid of public speaking, also overcomes her fear with the help of her classmate, showing that their complementary skills were a great match to work together.

I'm not going to write that much, but I'll give you something to work with.
When I'm reading I like to imagine myself in the book and as one of the characters. It helps me concentrate on the story better and look for the little details better. After I'm done reading I sometimes make little notes on big things that happened in the pages I read and theorize. It's fun for me!
