We will be using division property of exponents.

The property is as follows:

\frac{x^{a}}{x^{b}} =x^{a-b}

This means if we have same base in both numerator and denominator, the exponents will get subtracted.

In our question we have

\frac{4^{1}}{4^{3} }   =4^{1-3}

\frac{4^{1}}{4^{3} }   =4^{-2}

Now we will use another property of exponents here:

x^{-a} =\frac{1}{x^{a} }

So if we take reciprocal of the above expression we will get,

4^{-2} =\frac{1}{4^{2} }

Rewriting the final answer:

\frac{6^{3} }{4^{2} }

I really need help urgently!!! Geometry!
Naddik [55]
Both triangles are similar because 2 angles are same, only difference is in size.
similarity theorem - 2 angles of one triangle are congruent to 2 angles of another triangle, corresponding sides are in proportional.

24/ 3x+6 = 32/28
24 x 28 = 32 (3x+6)
x = 5

Enter the correct value so that each expression is a perfect square trinomial
Juli2301 [7.4K]

Answer:

12x

Step-by-step explanation:

This is b/2^2, so basically you take the square root of 36 and multiply that value by 2.

so \sqrt{36} = 6(2)=12

Hope this makes sense!

Estimate the error if t6 (trapeziod rule with n=6) was used to calculate ∫30cos(2x)dx.
Hunter-Best [27]
The error bound for a trapezoid rule is given with this formula:
|E_t|\leq\frac{K(b-a)^3}{12n^2}
Where n is the number of points we used in the approximation, a and b are starting and ending point of an integral, and K is the number such that:
|f''(x)|\leq K
In order to find K we must find the second derivative of our function:
f(x)=30\cos(2x)\\ f'(x)=-60\sin(2x)\\ f''(x)=-120\cos(2x)
From this, we can see that our K is 120. This is the amplitude of this periodic function.
Now we can calculate the error bound:
E_t|\leq\frac{120(b-a)^3}{12\cdot6^2}=\frac{120}{432}(a-b)^3
Since you did not specify the interval of integration I cannot compute the final error bound. You can simply plug in the numbers to get the answer.

Her aunt has38 pipe cleaners, and each kit will include 6 pipe cleaners. What is the total number of craft kits they can make?
Sergeeva-Olga [200]
6 can go into 38 a total of 6 times, since 6 times 6 is 36. The remaining two pipe cleaners won't be able to be used for anything, so you will only be able to make 6 complete kits with what you have. :)
