To solve this problem, all you have to do is add up the yards for the scarves and hats then convert that value to feet. Each scarf requires one yard of material and Terry is making four so he will need 4 yards for the scarves. Each hat requires 30 inches, and there are 60 inches in a yard to he will need 2 yards of material for the hats. Add the 4 yards for the scarves and the 2 yards for the hats to get 6 yards. Finally convert 6 yards to feet by multiplying 6 by 3 because there are 3 feet in a yard. This will give you 18 feet, which is your answer.

Terry needs 22 feet of material. One yard is three feet, and he needs 4 yard-long scarves, so multiply 3 by 4, which gives you twelve. Next, figure for the hats. He needs 30 inches for 4 hats each, so multiply 30 by 4. That'll give you 120 inches. Convert the 120 inches to feet and you've got 22 feet total!

A store sells ladders. • The retail price was a 40 percent markup over the manufacturer price. • A month later, the store reduce
TEA [102]
For this item, we represent the very original value or price of the given item by x such that increasing the retail price by 40 percent will give us 1.4x. Also, when the retail price of the item is reduced by 25 percent, we have.
                          new retail price = 1.4x (1 - 0.25) = 1.05x.
This means that the new retail price is only 5% over the manufacturer price.

On a particular day, the wind added 5 miles per hour to Alfonso's rate when he was cycling with the wind and subtracted 5 miles
sattari [20]

speed with no wind = s

speed with wind = s + 5

speed against wind = s - 5

time = t

speed = distance/time

distance = speed * time

With wind, time = t, speed = s + 5, distance = 50

50 = (s + 5)t

Against wind, time = t, speed = s - 5, distance = 30

30 = (s - 5)t

t = 30/(s - 5)

50 = (s + 5) * 30/(s - 5)

50(s - 5) = (s + 5) * 30

50s - 250 = 30s + 150

20s = 400

s = 20

I will give a brainliest to the person who has gets the correct answer with an explanation of how you solved it.
frutty [35]

Answer: V = 24,416.64m^{3}

Step-by-step explanation:

Solve for v  by simplifying both sides of the equation, then isolating the variable.

Formula: v = \frac{4}{3} \pi r^{3}

Plugin the variable: v = \frac{3}{4}\pi (18^{3})

Solve:

v = \frac{4}{3} 3.14 (5,832)

v = 4.18666666(5,832)

V = 24,416.64m^{3}
