In the problem. N+1=4(n-8)... the main goal is to isolate the variable(n) so, I would first distribute 4.. thus meaning 4•n + 4•-8=4n + - 32.... this works because of the distributive property. This would leave u with 4n + -32=n +1.... seeing that there was like terms in both side of the equation... I can cancel the n out of the other side; 1= (4n-n) -32, which is the same as 1=3n-32.... you can do the same with the whole numbers.... cancel the -32 out of one side by adding 32 to both sides; 33=3n and then easily u can find that 3•11= 33 so n=11

Need help please someone
salantis [7]

The answer to 9 would be (-3,-4) and (2,6) because if you plug in -3 for x in either of the equations and plug in 4 for y in the equations, both sides of the equation are the same number. also, if you plug in 2 for x and 6 for y both sides of the equation equal each other. The answer to 10 is (-1,1) and (7,33). if you plug them in they are equal:)
