RuBP combines with the CO2 to produce an unstable 6C compound, which immediatly breaks into 2 PGA. Then, in the carbon cycle, some of the PGA leaks out and through reverse glycolosis, form glucose. BUt during carbon fixation, i would say it is the PGA

Carbon fixation occurs in the second phase of photosynthesis, which is also called light independent phase or dark reaction or calvin cycle.

This cycle is primarily divided into three steps that is carbon fixation, reduction, and regeneration.

In carbon fixaton, inorganic carbon that is carbon dioxide is converted into organic compound that is a three carbon sugar 3- PGA ( phosphoglyceric acid). This reaction is catalyzed by the enzyme called RuBisCO ( RuBP carboxylase/ oxygenase) that combines RuBP (ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate) with CO₂ and forms a six carbon unstable compound, which is splitted into 2 molecules of 3-PGA.

3-PGA is further processed through various steps and the food in the form of carbohydrate ( glucose) is prepared.
