Answer:

Energy is lost at each tropic level as heat and serves to increase entropy.

Explanation:

The energy flow through food chain and food webs follow the second law of thermodynamics. It states that process of energy transfer is not perfect and leads to production of less usable energy than the initial energy. At each tropic level, only 10 % energy is passed to the next level and rest 90% is lost as heat. Therefore, energy transfer through food chains always ends up with lesser usable energy. The energy lost to the environment in form of heat tends to increase the entropy of the system. The higher the tropic level, the more the heat available to increase entropy.

Yes.

The kidney is the part of the internal organ that help in the production of urine. And a normal urine should be yellowish in color.

Therefore, in a situation whereby the urine is seen to contain some red tiny droplets, specifically means the presence of an infection to the kidney.

In this case, a cloudy urine might mean the presence of white blood cell which stipulates the presence of infection.

jeka94

The conclusion that can be revealed from this consequence of the shortening of one of the chromatids is that sister chromatids do not split equally during the anaphase of mitosis.

What is a Karyotype?

A karyotype may be defined as the complete set of chromosomes of any individual. It represents all sorts of numbers, sizes, and any abnormalities of the chromosomes in an organism.

According to the context of this question, in a karyotype of an individual, you have found that one of the chromatids of chromosome 4 is shorter than its homologous. It is due to the process when sister chromatids do not split equally during the anaphase of mitosis.

As a result of this, one daughter cell would have more chromosomes than normal and one daughter cell along with size variabilities in the chromatids of the chromosomes.
