so each ticket costs 12 dollars multiply that bye 5 you get 60

each bucket of popcorn costs 4.50 then multiply that bye 2 you get 9

then all five girls get a soda which costs 4.75 so you would multiply 4.75 bye 5 which is 23.75

so in total  you would get B.92.75

Answer: They spent $92.75 in total (option B).

Step-by-step explanation:

Hi, to solve this problem we have to analyze th informaton given:

Number of people : 5 ( krystal and 4 friends )

cost of each ticket : $12

cost of each bucket of popcorn: $4.50

Number of buckets of popcorn : 2

cost of ach soda : $4.75

So, we have to multiply the cost of each ticket by the number of people ($12 x 5),  add the cost of each soda multiplied by the number of people ($4.75 x 5), and finaly add the cost of 2 buckets of popcorn (2 x $4.50).

Mathematically speaking:

$12 x 5 + $4.75 x 5 + $4.50 x 2 =

$60 + $23.75 + $9 = $92.75

In conclusion, they spent $92.75 in total (option B).

The empty gas tank of a motor boat is to be filled. the tank is shaped like a rectangular prism with length 20cm , width 20cm ,
nikklg [1K]
To determine how long it will take to fill the empty tank, you will first find the capacity of the tank (the volume) and then divide this into groups of 750 cm^3.  Every group will be one minute.

V =lwh
20 x 20 x 15
V = 6000 cm^3

6000 cm^3/750 cm^3 = 8

It will take 8 minutes to fill the empty tank.
