To solve this you must first find a least common multiple... AKA same denominator

5/8 and 3/4 can both have a denominator of 16  (8*2 & 4*4)
now multiply 5 by 2 (10) so that the fraction is now 10/16
do the same thing with the other fraction so that the fraction looks like this...
12/16

12/16 > 10/16
because 12 is greater than 10

In the expression 852.763 x 10?, what is the missing exponent that would result in a number that is 1,000 times the value of 852
Molodets [167]

Answer:

The missing exponent = power of 3

852.763 x 10³ = 852763

Step-by-step explanation:

The expression 852.763 x 10?

A number that is 1,000 times the value of 852.763 is calculated as:

852.763 × 1000 = 852763

Converting this to exponent

852.763 × 10³ = 852763

Therefore, the missing exponent that would result in number that is 1,000 times the value of 852.763 is power of 3 meaning 10³

Daca a + b = 20 si b + c = 30 ,calculati 3 . a + 7 . b + 4 . c ( Dau coroana la cine ma ajuta )
Oduvanchick [21]

It is given that

a+b=20  -------------------- (1)

b+c=30 -----------------------(2)

We have to calculate

3 a + 4 b +7 c

Now multiplying equation(1 )by 3,we get

3 a+ 3 b=60  ----------------------------------(3)

and Multiplying equation( 2) by 4,we get

4 b + 4 c=120  -----------------------------------(4)

Adding expression (3) and (4),we get i.e left hand side of 3 to left hand side of 4 and right hand side of 3 to right hand side of 4.

3 a+ 3 b+ 4 b+ 4 c=60+120

Adding like terms, we get

3 a+ 7 b+ 4 c =180, Which is the required solution.
