15 mins = 900 s

We need to find all common multiples of 18 and 42 less than or equal 900.
We'll find the least common multiple first.

18|2
9|3
3|3
1

42|2
21|3
7|7

\text{lcm}(18,42)=2\cdot3^2\cdot7=126

Now, we nned to find all multiples of 126 that are less than or equal 900.
Those are 126,252,378,504,630,756,882. There are 7 of those.
Therefore the answer is 7.

15 minutes = 900 seconds

so basically, we would have to find the common multiples of 18 and 42....going all the way to 900

I am not gonna list all the multiples of 18 and 42.....but the common multiples of both are : 126,252,378,504,630,756,882 ...thats 7 numbers

therefore, he will do jumping jacks and whistle (at the same time )  7 times during the 15 minute period

What is the approximate area of the figure?
Valentin [98]

Answer:

Answer D (2206.5 ft^2) is closest to the calculated answer 2206.85 ft^2.

Step-by-step explanation:

We can break up this figure into a 30 ft by 50 ft rectangle and a circle of diameter 30 ft.

The area of the rectangular part is A1 = (30 ft)(50 ft) = 1500 ft^2.

The area of the circular part is A2 = π(15 ft)^2 = 706.9 ft^2

Thus, the total area is approx A1 + A2, or 2206.86 ft^2 (Answer D)

Answer:

option A

The base is e^-1

Step-by-step explanation:

Given in the question a function, f(x) = (1/e)^{x}

This function can also be write as.

f(x) =(e^{-1})^{x}

by using Negative Exponent Rule

x^{-n}=\frac{1}{x^{n}}

This says that negative exponents in the numerator get moved to the denominator and become positive exponents.
