The probability of <span>Jonas </span>getting an orange is 5/11, and as he has an orange there are only 10 pieces of fruit left in the basket.
Now, the probability of Beth getting an apple 2/10 or 2/5.
So to get the final result we need to multiply Jona's with Beth's: <span>

(5/11)</span>·<span>(2/5) = 10/55</span>

IrinaK [193]

Answer:

Ann had 48 fliers to post around town

Last week, she posted 2/3 of them

48 \times \frac{2}{3} = 32 \\

Therefore, she should posted 32 fliers

This week, she posted 3/8 of the remaining fliers

48 \times \frac{3}{8} = 18 \\

Therefore, she should posted 18 fliers

Total fliers she should post are (32+18)=50 fliers

She still did not post (50-48)= <u>2 fliers</u>

<h3><em><u>2 fliers </u></em>is the right answer.</h3>

Determine the value of logb b. Explain your reasoning.
balandron [24]

Answer:

Suppose that logb b = x.

bx = b (Use the definition of a logarithm.)

bx = b1

x = 1 (Use the common base property.)

So, logb b = 1.

Triangle JKL has vertices J(−2, 2) , K(−3, −4) , and L(1, −2) .

Rule: (x, y)→(x + 8, y + 1 )

J’ (-2, 2) → (-2 + 8, 2 + 1 ) → (6, 3 )
K’ (-3, -4) → (-3 + 8, -4 + 1 ) → (5, -3 )
L’ (1, -2) → (1 + 8, -2 + 1 ) → (9, -1)

J’ (6,3)
K’ (5,-3)
L’ (9,-1)

Hope this helps!
