Blood is the tissue out of the following.

Blood brings oxygen, nutrients, hormones, and a couple of more molecules as well as eliminating the wastes. This is a reason of why it is a tissue. Moreover, other connective tissues have the same origin as blood does which is a second reason of why blood is considered a tissue.
