Italy left the Axis powers forcing The Nazis to invade Italy. At the same time, the Allies invaded. In 1943, Italy was split between the North and South. The North Becoming The Italian Social Republic (1943-1945)

and The Kingdom of Italy in the South (1861-1946). In 1945, The Social Republic was defeated and The Kingdom of Italy retook Power and collapsed a year later
