I would rather have a dollar that doubles everyday because after a couple of years, I would have more than a million dollars altogether if I don't spend any of the money thats been multiplied.
I hope I helped

I would rather have a dollar that doubles every day, because you can soon reach past a million dollars and it will keep growing, instead of having 1 million dollars right away, and not gaining any more.

I honestly need help on this...I tried to work it out but I just don’t know where to start...
Ilia_Sergeevich [38]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

1) The sum of angles on a straight line is 180 degrees. Therefore

75 + a + 70 = 180

145 + a = 180

a = 180 - 145 = 35 degrees

2) Sum of the angles in a triangle is 180 degrees. Therefore,

a + b + 95 = 180

35 + b + 95 = 180

130 + b = 180

b = 180 - 130 = 50 degrees

3) c + 95 = 180 degrees (sum of angles on a straight line).

c = 180 - 95 = 85 degrees

4) 70 + c + d = 180 degrees

70 + 85 + d = 180

155 + d = 180

d = 180 - 155 = 25 degrees

5) e = 75 degrees

6) f + e + 75 = 180 degrees

f + 75 + 75 = 180

f + 150 = 180

f = 180 - 150 = 30 degrees

Identify the segment bisector of XY.
Ganezh [65]

Given the image attached, the segment bisector that divides XY into two and the length of XY are as follows:

  • Segment bisector of XY = line n
  • Length of XY = 6

<em><u>Recall:</u></em>

  • A line that divides a segment into two equal parts is referred to as segment bisector.

In the diagram attached below, line n divides XY into XM and MY.

Thus, the segment bisector of XY is: line n.

<em><u>Find the value of x:</u></em>

XM = MY (congruent segments)

  • Substitute

5x + 8 = 9x + 12

  • Collect like terms and solve for x

5x + 8 = 9x + 12\\5x - 9x = -8 + 12\\\\-4x = 4\\\\x = -1

XY = XM + MY

XY = 5x + 8 + 9x + 12

  • Plug in the value of x

XY = 5(-1) + 8 + 9(-1) + 12\\\\XY = -5 + 8 -9 + 12\\\\\mathbf{XY = 6}

Therefore, given the image attached, the segment bisector that divides XY into two and the length of XY are as follows:

  • Segment bisector of XY = line n
  • Length of XY = 6
