One angle of a triangle measures 100°. the other two angles are in a ratio of 3:5. what are the measures of those two angles?\

Mathematics
1 answer:
Kipish [7]3 years ago
3 0
Sum of those two angles = 180 - 100 = 80
Now, Total ratio = 3 + 5 = 8
Amount of 1 unit = 80 / 8 = 10
Angle measures: = 3(10) & 5(10) = 30, 50

In short, Your Answer would be 30 & 50

Hope this helps!

Solve the following simultaneous equations: 1. a) x-y=-5 and x + y = -1
Sonbull [250]

Answer:

x = -3, y = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

x - y = -5

x = -5 + y

Let's put this into the other equation

(-5 + y) + y = -1

-5 + 2y = -1

2y = 4

y = 2

Now we can solve for x by plugging y into either equation

x + (2) = -1

x = -3

A coin is tossed and a spinner numbered 1 to 7 is spun. What is the probability of getting an odd number and heads
Vikki [24]
Your answer is 4/14 or 2/7. There are two possibilities when you flip a coin, heads or tails. Then for the spinner there are 7. Multiply them by each other to get the total number of outcomes of the situation of 14. Then there are only 4 odd numbers from 1-7. This means that you would only be able to get an odd number and heads 4 times.

Hope this helped!

How can you use unit rates to make comparisons
Firlakuza [10]
Equivalent rates can be used to compare different sets of quantities that have the same value. A rate that compares a quantity to one is called a unit rate. The unit rate has a denominator equal to one when written as a fraction. Unit rates can be used to find larger equivalent rates.
