Slaves were not heavily traded between Europe and West Africa prior of 1607. Even after 1607, the amount of slaves that went to Europe is small compared to those that went to the New World (Americas and Caribbean islands). Slave Trade will flourish along the Middle Passage. This was one section of the Triangular Trade routes that operated between the Americas, Europe, and Africa.

Explanation:

The Indian Removal Act was passed in 1830, this meant that many Native Americans had to move from their tribal lands to what is now present-day Oklahoma. If they did not move, they would have to be forcefully removed by the United States military and unfortunately, that was the case for many.

A lot of the Natives realized they did not stand a chance against the United States government, so they left by themselves and tried to avoid confrontation. Many of the Cherokee Natives did not want to move and even tried begging to stay in their homeland. The United States government did not budge and wanted to still move them to Oklahoma in order to expand.

Eventually, the Cherokee Natives were forced out and had to walk 2,200 miles to what is now Oklahoma, this walk is known as the Trail of Tears. The Native Americans were walked at gunpoint and many of them ended up dying from disease, weather conditions, dehydration, and other factors.

John Locke was one of the first of the Enlightenment era philosophers.  The Enlightenment's emphasis on reason was in contrast to superstition and traditional beliefs.  The Scientific Revolution had shown that there are natural laws in place in the physical world and in the universe at large.  Applying similar principles to matters like government and society, using reason will guide us to the best ways to operate politically so as to create the most beneficial conditions for society.  This included a conviction that all human beings have certain natural rights which are to be protected and preserved.    Locke's ideal was one that promoted individual freedom and equal rights and opportunity for all.  Each individual's well-being (life, health, liberty, possessions) should be served by the way government and society are arranged.
