The KKK stands for the Ku Klan Klux. The group is a socialist group that thinks that whites (Caucasians ) are superior to other races. They are defined as an extremist racist group. The group is often seen with white hoods like the one below. So they often threaten other races with violence (especially dark skinned African Americans) and at times, they do kill people. Their most notrious time was after the Civil War in which they harassed freed slaves. The group originated in the South of the U.S
