Is ice a mineral or not
Ne4ueva [31]

Answer:

No

Explanation:

Water does not pass the test of being a solid so it is not considered a mineral although ice; which is solid, is classified as a mineral as long as it is naturally occurring. Thus ice in a snow bank is a mineral, but ice in an ice cube from a refrigerator is not.

forsale [732]

There are a lot of applications for remote sensing but the most common use for this is for image processing and interpretation. By using image interpretation in remote sensing an area can be closely studied without the researcher being physically present there.

Why was the southern part of egypt referred to as "upper eagypt" and vice versa?
lesya [120]
Hello there!

Back in the days of the early Egyptians, they did not know about "north" or "south." Due to this, they did not think to orient their kingdom in the way we do now. They took the Nile River, which flows from south to north as their reference. Therefore, the southern part was known as "Upper Egypt" while the northern region was called "Lower Egypt."

I hope this helps!
