Answer:  Disadvantages: Adult stem cells have a determined cell type and cannot be changed into tissues that differ from the ones that they came from. This limits the cells by allowing them to be used only in procedures that involve the same type of tissue that they came from.

Explanation: They are difficult culture in vitro, impossible for some cell types, and they are fairly difficult to get using other methods because it requires a sample of the tissue that is specific to that cell type. Generally to get a sample of tissue it needs to be removed from the body, requiring surgery in most cases. Even when they are successfully cultured in-vitro, adult stem cells have a shorter life than embryonic stem cells.

How do genetic modification variations likely to differ from genetic sexual reproduction variations
ololo11 [35]

Answer:

The  genetic modification variations result in the change in the genome of the organism. In this case, the variations result in expression of a trait in different form than usual. These variations results in genetic mutation, which can be inherited from one generation to another.

In sexual reproduction, the genome of the organism is not altered. In this only an exchange between the maternal and the maternal alleles takes place, these changes does not result in mutations.

You’re welcome :)

4. Where do substrates attach to an enzyme?*
Anna71 [15]

Answer:

A substance that speeds up a chemical reaction—without being a reactant—is called a catalyst. The catalysts for biochemical reactions that happen in living organisms are called enzymes. Enzymes are usually proteins, though some ribonucleic acid (RNA) molecules act as enzymes too.

Explanation:

enzymes don't change their own reaction. That's because they don't affect the free energy of reactants or the products.
