Also, the building to honor their gods was a very important factor because they were a certain civilization that believed with deep roots. They keep doing it, though. But the major factor was the organized government. Because it allowed them to create amazing different clans/cultures since the beginning of their existence in east Asia. It was so good that when the Mongols conquered them, they preserved it, unifying China for centuries.
