Fred Korematsu argued that internment was unconstitutional mainly because Internees did not receive due process.

Further Explanation:-

After the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor, President of United States of that time, Franklin D. Roosevelt issued an executive order which was known as executive order 9066in which he authorized his war department to look for the military areas from which all or any Americans may be excluded. On the same time the Western Defense command along with a military command of United States charged towards west coast of the United States and it ordered all the people from Japanese ancestry which included all the aliens and non-aliens of Japan and the order was to relocate to the internment camps. A man from Japanese-American origin refused to go to the camp and did not want to leave the exclusion zone and instead of leaving his place he challenged the order of the military power of United States and that was seen as the violation of the Fifth Amendment. During that period of time there were Japanese-Americans who were interned were given grants of reparations by using Civil Liberties act 1988 and that happened after many years of internment.

Fred Korematsu argued that internment was unconstitutional mainly because internees did not receive due process.

In President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s EO 9066, residents from the West Coast who had Japanese ancestry were to be deemed as enemies. Fred Korematsu pointed out that internment violates his constitutional rights. He also pointed out that internment was an obvious type of racial discrimination.

What honor did the Lusitania win on its second transatlantic voyage?
yuradex [85]

hortly after noon on a drizzly spring day in 1915, the Cunard liner Lusitania backed slowly away from Pier 54 on New York’s Lower West Side. It was Lusitania‘s 202nd Atlantic crossing, and as usual the luxury liner’s sailing attracted a crowd, for the 32,500-ton vessel was one of the fastest and most glamorous ships afloat. In the words of the London Times, she was ‘a veritable greyhound of the seas.’

Passengers, not yet settled in their accommodations, marveled at the ship’s size and splendor. With a length of 745 feet, she was one of the largest man-made objects in the world. First-class passengers could eat in a two-story Edwardian-style dining salon that featured a plasterwork dome arching some thirty feet above the floor. Those who traveled first class also occupied regal suites, consisting of twin bedrooms with a parlor, bathroom, and private dining area, for which they paid four thousand dollars one way. Second-class accommodations on Lusitania compared favorably with first-class staterooms on many other ships.

People strolling through nearby Battery Park watched as three tugs worked to point the liner’s prow downriver toward the Narrows and the great ocean beyond. While well-wishers on the pier waved handkerchiefs and straw hats, ribbons of smoke began to stream from three of the liner’s four tall funnels. Seagulls hovered astern as the liner slowly began to pick up speed.

For a church to be considered sacred, it must adhere to a specific architectural model. True False
SpyIntel [72]

Answer:. False

Explanation:

Sacred places are where we meet something beyond ourselves.

The holiness of the church is what makes it sacred.

Traditionally, of course, churches are expected to be holy.

But buildings, sacred spaces, are not holy only because of expectation or architecture or silence or time apart.
