Answer:

(-2,1)

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that for the given data points if each x values have a unique y value then only the relation is a function.

If a x value has more than one y values then it will not be a function.

In the given graph, we have below points

(-4,3), (-2,1), (-2,-3), (2,3) and (1,1)

We can see that each x value has a unique y value except -2.

The x value -2 has two y values 1 and -3, which violates the condition of function.

Therefore, if we remove either of these two points then the given relation would be a function.

Hence, we can conclude that on removing (-2,1) would make the graph a function of x.

Second option is correct.

Again, a function is where for every x, there is only one value of y. If you look, for x of -2, there is y of 1 and -3. So removing one of them would work. The only one answer that works in (-2, 1)

This is the picture to my last question. sorry

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The point A has coordinates (5, 1) so the image of A which is A' has

coordinates (5 - 2,  1+3)

= (3, 4).

B', C' and D' are calculated in the same way.

So B' is (4, 1),

C' = (3, 2) and

D' = (2, 1)

Alright assuming they mean total surface area since they didn't say lateral the equation to follow would be S= Ph + 2B

Start with P:
P stands for perimeter, so add up all the edges on one face of the cube.

17 + 17 + 17 + 17 = 68
Then your equation becomes
S= 68×h + 2B
h=height and that's obviously 17
so, S= 68×17 +2B

Now to find B. This is pretty easy. All you need to do is take 17×17 because you're finding the area of the base. This equals 289.

Finally this leaves us with the equation
S= 68×17+2×289

From there on you just solve it out.
This would leave you with 1734.
