Immigrants decided to leave their natives countries for many reasons. Some of them had differences with the Church of England and were persecuted for religious issues, such as the case of The Puritans that arrived at Cape Code to found the Plymouth Colony. Other were interest in being wealthy and the economic reasons made them travel to America as was the case of the English colonists that arrived at Virginia to found the Jamestown Colony in 1606.
