Answer:

Heat and/or pressure

Explanation:

This is the shortest path because any rock that is placed under extreme heat and pressure (this usually occurs underground, which takes a little bit under half a million years) can become metamorphic. Otherwise, the rock would have to go through the entirety of the rock cycle.

Describe an example of the scientific method. Include any limitations this method has.
topjm [15]
Due to the need to have completely controlled experiments to test a hypothesis, science can not prove everything. For example, the scientific method cannot alone say that global warming is bad or harmful to the world, as it can only study the objective causes and consequences.

Predict what happens when glucose levels are high in the human body.
Sav [38]
I think when blood sugar levels are high the pancreas secretes insulin to decrease sugar levels and restore homeostasis. Insulin and glucagon are hormones secreted by the islet cells of the pancreas. The are both secreted in response to blood sugar levels, but in opposite fashion. High blood glucose triggers secretion of insulin by the pancreas, such that in response the cells including muscle, red blood cells, and fat cells, by absorbing glucose out of the blood, thus lowering the high blood glucose levels to normal range.
