Answer:

The best answer to fill in the blank here would be: The origin that elevates a structure is generally located above that structure. Thus, the full answer would be: In a muscle, the origin that elevates a structure is generally located above that structure.

Explanation:

Muscles are pretty fascinating tissues and their combined power is what allows humans beings, and other animals, to move. Aside from that, muscles are perfect energy utilizers, force producers and heat producers that will enable a person not just to move, but to survive. In regards to movement, muscles are able to produce movement because their fibers originate usually at a bony structure, above the structure to be moved, and insert themselves on the insertion point of the structure that can be moved. The force of the fibers to produce motion happens when the fibers, under neural stimulation, begin to collect, or pull themselves from their insertion point towards their origin, bringing with them the structure that has to be moved.

Very, very rare. Uranium used in power plants is typically only 3% U-235 (the explosive stuff), while bomb-grade uranium is nearly pure U-235. Simply, the concentration of U-235 in reactor-grade uranium is too small to start a chain reaction and detonate like a bomb.

Help plz
MatroZZZ [7]

Answer:

This is because in biology, energy is transferred from organism to organism and some energy is lost along the way. Each energy transfer results in a loss of energy, so that energy is always at a lower level and can never be returned to its original high energy level. On the other hand, chemical elements can form products, then that reaction can be reversed and break back down into reactants. Additionally, the law of conservation of matter says that matter can't be created or destroyed, only transferred from one form to another.

Describe natural selection- when does natural selection occur?
sashaice [31]

Answer:

The process whereby organisms better adapted to their environment tend to survive and produce more offspring. The theory of its action was first fully expounded by Charles Darwin, and it is now regarded as be the main process that brings about evolution.

Four conditions are needed for natural selection to occur: reproduction, heredity, variation in fitness or organisms, variation in individual characters among members of the population. If they are met, natural selection automatically results.
