Answer:

Britishers became the first European who tried to settle in the North of America. After reaching New World, they named the colony as Roanoke, established in 1585, present-day North Carolina. Roanoke colony was not able to prosper because of the harsh weather, hunger, diseases, and hostile Indians. When John White returned from England after three years with more men, he found no trace of settlers whom he left behind in the colony.

Jamestown was successful because Native Indians were eager to help them in settling in the New World. John Smith also played a significant role in issuing strict leadership in the colony, which helped settlers to survive.

Jamestown climatic condition allowed the settlers to grow Indian Tobacco in plantations. The Plymouth colony established by Pilgrims, who did farming grew vegetables, and corn.

Melanie is using "critical" thinking.

Critical thinking is the capacity to think what to do or what to accept. It incorporates the capacity to take part in intelligent and independent reasoning.

Critical thinking doesn't involve accumulating data. A man with a good memory and who knows a great deal of realities isn't really great at basic reasoning. A basic mastermind can find outcomes from what he knows, and he knows how to make utilization of data to take care of issues, and to look for relevant sources of data to educate himself.

The nurse provides nutritional counseling to the parents of a 6-month-old formula-fed infant who will begin eating solid foods.
Alina [70]

Answer:

2. "I'll buy plenty of pureed spinach so she gets enough iron."

Explanation:

When an infant is about to transition to solid foods, the parents need to gradually change the infant's diet from pure liquid into a pureed whole foods. (since the baby hasn't developed a strong enough teeth to break down foods with hard texture).

Pureed vegetables or baby biscuits are often used by the majority of parents during this time period. Saying that sentence indicated that the parents understand the nurse's advice and about to implement it soon.
