2. Based on this, you have:

(x+y)+y=180 and (2x+3)+z=180

3. z and y are opposite, therefore:

z=y

So:

 (2x+3)+y=180

4. Solve for x in the equation (x+y)+y=180 and substitute it into  (2x+3)+y=180:

x+2y=180\\x=180-2y

2(180-2y)+3+y=180

5. Solve for y:

360-4y+3+y=180\\-3y=180-363\\y=61\\z=61
