Answer: Hammurabi's Code

Explanation:

Hammurabi's code is one of the earliest known legal 'documents' in known history upon which a code of laws was written. It was named Hammurabi's code as it was written during the reign of King Hammurabi of Babylonia.

The code is notable for having some of the earliest basis for the law of retribution or simply put, the idea of "an eye for an eye" by including examples of scenarios where the law would be applied. For instance, the code talks about how a man who steals a cow must pay it back 30 times.

Did the supreme court decisions under john marshall's leadership extend federal power too much? is it appropriate that someone w
mash [69]

The supreme court decision under John Marshall leadership have extended federal powers, but not too much in the sense of destroying the federalist idea that brought the United States together. Marshall was guided by a strong commitment to judicial power and by a belief in the supremacy of national over state legislatures. His judicial vision was very much in keeping with the Federalist political program in line with the constitution.

It can be argued that someone not elected should not have power to shape government and law through the Expansion of the Judiciary in 1801, but the Marshall Court, and this decision in particular, established the principle of "judicial review" whereby Congressional laws and executive actions may be judged by the Supreme Court to be within the bounds of the Constitution.

It is definitely not appropriate that a political party ideology is implemented through the judiciary, however, In keeping with John Marshall's Federalist views, they generally favored strong government action and especially supported the supremacy of the federal government over state authorities as long as it was constitutional.

What are the four major economic shifts (in chronological order) the united states has experienced?
Yanka [14]
<span>The modern American economy traces its roots to the quest of European settlers for economic gain in the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries. The New World then progressed from a marginally successful colonial economy to a small, independent farming economy and, eventually, to a highly complex industrial economy.

During this evolution, the United States developed ever more complex institutions to match its growth. And while government involvement in the economy has been a consistent theme, the extent of that involvement generally has increased.</span>
