Vertical and Horizontal lines are important in visual design and art.
Those lines can also be curved or straight and others. They are showing us the orientation, motion and certain feelings. Horizontal ones are representing the rest and tranquility while the vertical ones are showing power and strength.
Those lines are an effective part of the artwork design because of the viewers that are looking at the artwork, they can often clearly see it and tell what are the certain feeling that they have while looking at it.
