A square has an area of 81x square cm. What is the perimeter of the square ?
Fudgin [204]

Answer:

The perimeter of the square is 36\sqrt{x}\ cm

Step-by-step explanation:

step 1

Find the length side of the square

we know that

The area of a square is equal to

A=b^{2}

where

b is the length side of the square

we have

A=81x\ cm^{2}

substitute and solve for b

81x=b^{2}

square root both sides

b=9\sqrt{x}\ cm

step 2

Find the perimeter of the square

we know that

The perimeter of the square is equal to

P=4b

we have

b=9\sqrt{x}\ cm

substitute

P=(4)9\sqrt{x}

P=36\sqrt{x}\ cm

meat is 4 times as much as cheese...so meat costs 4c
and $ 48 was spent

so ur equation would be : c + 0.5c + 4c = 48 <=
