Hello! Its really simple 16 ounces equal 1 pound!

There are 16 ounces to a pound, so you'd multiply the number of pounds by 16.

So if you had 3 pounds:

3 * 16 = 48

So that would be 48 ounces.

EDIT:

Ok so I checked with somebody who is pretty good with math and they said that 5x=5x would be right. Not too sure but that's what I'm putting.
