The most important reason behind this was modern bosses started to diminish working hours and origination a Saturday half-day occasion, which gave laborers all the more extra time for relaxation exercises. These vacations were usually unpaid. Americans used to spend their times in theaters, attending vaudeville shows, watching motion pictures etc.
